As female surfers of all levels, we designed this swimsuit for intermediate surfers surfing waves under one meter.

YOU ARE AN INTERMEDIATE SURFER

You regularly go surfing. During your sessions, you paddle out to the line-up, duck dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle roll if you are on a longboard, then surf waves of less than one metre. You often fall and are used to being shaken about underwater. Your swimsuit must meet the requirements of your activity and stay in place for each of your movements. We have designed a range for you that is suited to regular activity and your body shape.

BODY SHAPE

The one-piece Agatha women’s swimsuit is the perfect companion for your sessions. Inspired by our bikini top of the same name, it beautifully highlights the chest, the opening between the breasts allows you to evacuate water and adds a touch of style. Its double back adjustment allows optimal adjustment and liberates your arms and paddling. It has a medium-cut leg.

STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES: THE TEST

We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.

ACTIVE AT THE BEACH!

Whether you are a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.

COMFORTABLE IN OUR SWIMWEAR

We strive to support women to ensure they feel comfortable in our swimwear. The chest is not squashed, the bottom is not emphasised, coverage levels vary. Our mission is to ensure that every woman finds a swimming costume that suits her, whatever her body type or size.

REMOVAL OF PLASTIC HYGIENE STICKERS FROM OUR SWIMWEAR

From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. This decision was made to help protect our reduce plastic use. Saving 940 km of plastic every year! Please do your bit by always keeping your underwear on in our changing rooms.

DRY SIZING AND WET SIZING

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

DO YOU WANT TO EXCHANGE YOUR SWIMSUIT?

Is the size or style not suitable for you? would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.

OLAIAN, DECATHLON'S SURF BRAND

Based in Hendaye, in southwest France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surfing and bodyboarding brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a swimsuit and then on the same day test it directly in the sea to check it stays in place in the waves.

With its rounded neckline and wide comfortable double back adjustment (upper back & around the chest), this 1-piece meets all of an intermediate surfer’s paddling needs in freeing the shoulder blades.
