What does the 10 kg kit contain?
- 1 solid 2 kg bar, diameter: 28 mm, length: 37 cm,
- 2 disc collars,
- 4 x 1 kg plates, diameter: 28 mm (135 mm diameter, 13 mm thickness)
- 2 x 2 kg plates, diameter: 28 mm (175 mm diameter, 18 mm thickness)
All the weights are made of cast iron, so they'll last a long time (as long as they are stored in a dry place)
Why did we choose to make our discs from recycled cast iron?
Since 2018, our teams have been incorporating recycled materials in their work to achieve excellence. From now on, our entire range will be made from 80% recycled cast iron sourced from ferrous waste: a technical feat!
This cast iron has been laboratory tested and is of the same quality as new. It is five times more compression-resistant than vinyl. Its textured surface ensures a secure grip, even with wet hands, where plastic tends to become slippery. Durable and sturdy.
How do I use this kit safely?
The disc collars should always be placed on the barbell after loading with weights.
Note that they do not support more than 15 kg in a hammer grip (vertical position).
Max weight per bar: 30 kg

What kind of session does our coach offer?
Upper body work:
- Seated shoulder press with bar, 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps
- Barbell rows, 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps
Lower body work:
- Lunges with bar, 3x12 for each leg
Always keep a 2-rep margin and recover for 1 minute between sets.
You can increase the load or the number of reps between workouts.
Why choose cast iron rather than plastic or vinyl weights?
There are many advantages to cast iron:
- density: compact so you can increase the number of discs on the bar. This makes it easy to load your bar for a variety of exercises.
- life span: unlike vinyl and plastic which can wear out quickly, cast iron lasts a lifetime!

Clean the bar and plates with a damp cloth after each workout.
