Our designers – and fellow sailors – have developed this inshore sailing fleece for sailing in cool weather.

WHY IS THIS PRODUCT SO WARM?

The inside of the fleece is brushed, a process known to retain heat. The principle is simple: the component's knit is structured to give extra volume in order to trap air, which is naturally insulating. It is exactly the same principle as for animal fur or feathers. The two layers of fleece make this product thick and warm, while leaving you free to move.

WHAT IS THE FLEECE COMPONENT AND WHY IS IT SO WARM?

The fleece fabric, made of synthetic fibres, aims to mimic the properties of wool: warmth, thermal insulation, while being lighter. It is soft, comfortable, dries quickly and lets your skin breathe.

ISN'T SUCH A SOFT AND PLEASANT COMPONENT DELICATE?

To ensure the robustness of our products, we test the components. We check, for example, that our fleeces do not pill, that the colours do not bleed, and that repeated washing does not alter the properties of the fabric.

WHAT TO WEAR WHEN SAILING

To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we advise using the three-layer principle: base layer: A technical base layer allows moisture transfer to keep skin dry. Mid layer: A middle layer (fleece, pullover) provides warmth as well as moisture transfer. Outer layer: A jacket protects you from the elements: wind and rain. The layers must be breathable to wick away moisture

HOW DOES THE PRODUCT GUARANTEE WORK?

This product is guaranteed for a period of two years from the purchase date shown on the till receipt. Products covered by warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The guarantee covers any faults with your product, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear or those resulting from misuse.
