Technology
The elastic weave applies just the right amount of pressure around the ankles for optimum ankle support to reduce the risk of a sprain. Unlike the thick strap sock, they have only one layer and are therefore much thinner.

These socks are very tight on the strip areas. I like how they do not allow any folding. They work particularly well when running in shoes that are slightly oversized and prone to cause rubbing chaffing.
These have been worn and washed regularly, they are comfortable to wear and wash well, only now starting to deteriorate.
I bought 2 pairs of running socks - one pair had compression strips (apparently), one didn’t. As an experienced long distance runner I know that socks can be over priced for the benefits they give. I pay moderate prices for socks that are comfortable and fit me well - which these are and did. To improve I suggest clearer wording on the packaging explaining the differences between different types. And some funky colours please.
