How to choose your hybrid e-bike size
We offer 3 sizes of e-bike (men's and women's):
• Size S: 1.50 m to 1.65 m tall.
• Size M: 1.66 m to 1.77 m tall.
• Size L: 1.78 m to 1.90 m tall.
If you are on the edge between 2 sizes: Get the smaller size if you want a more upright position.
Get the bigger size if you want a more stretched-out position.
Hybrid e-bike battery range and assistance modes
The assistance modes help you to reach speeds of up to 25 km/h, above which you'll no longer get any help from the motor.
0 - No assistance
1 - Gentle assistance - 70 km of battery range in normal conditions
2 - Moderate assistance - 60 km of battery range in normal conditions
3 - "Boost" assistance for tough climbs - 40 km of battery range in normal conditions
The battery range will vary depending on the weight of the bike (user + baggage), the gradient and the outside temperature
Electric hybrid bike motor: use those watts!
How powerful is this electric hybrid bike's motor?
The power of the 36 volt brushless rear motor is 250 watts.
It has an engine torque up to 42 Nm. This number tells you the bike's ability to take on climbs.
The motor is also connected to a cadence sensor that uses the movement of the pedals to determine how much electrical assistance to provide.
What is the assistance sensor for on a hybrid e-bike?
On an electric hybrid bike, the sensor is what triggers the assistance.
The RS 100E has a highly responsive cadence sensor (24 magnets) that provides gentle, smooth assistance.
Did you know...? The more magnets the sensor has, the more responsive and less jerky the assistance will be.
All about this electric hybrid bike's battery
This hybrid e-bike has a battery with LG or Samsung lithium-ion 36V 10.5Ah cells with a capacity of 378Wh.
It is locked in place (the bike comes with two keys) with a system that stops it vibrating.
The battery can be removed to make it easier to charge.
It can be charged on or off the bike

Connect your bike to unleash its full potential!
The free Decathlon Ride app lets you:
1. get a real-time dashboard (instant speed, distance covered, battery level, etc.)
2. find details of your statistics (route taken, assistance mode used on each section, average speed).
These functions require you to keep your phone with you, connected to the bike via Bluetooth, for the duration of the cycling trip.
You don't need the app in order to use the bike.
Compatibility
The Decathlon Ride app is compatible:
- with Apple devices: iOS 8 and later versions
- with Android telephones: Android 7 and later versions.
How does the control screen work on this electric hybrid bike?
The RS 100E electric hybrid bike has a backlit LED screen that's easy to read both day and night.
It's positioned close to the left handle so that you can easily switch between the 3 assistance modes.
You can also control the bike's lights and switch it to Walk mode.
The remaining battery life is shown by an LED indicator.
The screen will soon be able to connect to the Decathlon E Ride app via Bluetooth so that you can enjoy even more features.
A frame designed for less weight and more comfort
Our engineers have designed the unisex frame of the RS 100E electric hybrid bike out of 6061 aluminium to make it lightweight. Its lowered geometry makes it easy to climb onto, keeping both men and women comfortable.
You can also customise the frame as you like using the bottle cage and pannier rack holes.
The removable derailleur hanger can be changed if needed.
Adjustable suspension fork
To keep you as comfortable as possible on all trails, our designers have used a Suntour coil suspension fork that can be adjusted according to the user's weight:
• 1 1/8" aluminium steerer tube
• 63 mm travel
• Aluminium blade
When correctly adjusted, the fork will absorb bumps in the ground to keep your rides enjoyable.
Derailleurs and drivetrain: enjoy the speed!
The RS100E electric hybrid bike has 6 gears controlled by a Shimano grip shifter that's easy to use, even when you're wearing gloves! In detail:

Hybrid tyres: put rubber to the road
We've equipped this RS100E electric hybrid bike with comfortable, all-round CST PIKA tyres with puncture protection so that you can ride anywhere.
In addition, we've opted to use self-sealing inner tubes to help retain pressure and increase resistance to punctures.
The recommended pressure for these tyres is between 4 and 5 bars (details on the tyre's sidewall).

28-inch double-walled wheels to go further!
Hit the roads and trails with the Riverside 100E. With its black, double-walled, aluminium rims, it's perfect for going off-road.
To transport your bike, the quick-release on the front wheel makes it easy to remove.

Rear wheel nut can be removed with an 8 mm Allen key. (Compatible with B'Twin 900 multitool).

Nothing's more important when cycling than being comfortable in the saddle, especially if you're going for a long ride. That's why our teams have developed this gel trekking saddle that's exclusive to B'Twin.

Lighting
The Riverside 100E hybrid bike has built-in lights that are powered by the battery.
The front headlight is fixed to the fork and the rear light is under the saddle.
The cables are routed through the frame and seat post.
These powerful 20 lux LED lights have a wide beam (120 lumens for seeing and being seen from 130°).
The lights are controlled on the handlebars via the control screen.
