Aquathermic technology:
AQUATHERMIC components integrate thermal features to reduce thermal shock when entering the water, and also reduces the duration and intensity of the wind chill effect* when getting out of the water. It also improves body thermal insulation from the outdoors to enable you to Swim for a long time in cold conditions.
Thermal shock:
The physical and elastic properties of AQUATHERMIC materials help to provide swimmers with a second skin. This second skin slows down water penetration and therefore thermal shock when getting into the water.
Use restriction
Not recommended for use on slides.

I bought this for my almost 10year old because she was ready to quit swimming due to the water being too cold. I bought the 10 to 11year old size (daughter is 10 later this month). My daughter is slimmer than most her age but otherwise a very average sized kid. Going on reviews, I thought that the 10 to 11 would be perfect. However, it is quite loose on her. She says the swim wear only makes a tiny difference in terms of making the cold pool bearable. I wonder if its because the swimwear is too big on her. I wish there was still a local Decathlon store near us so we could go try on the 8 to 9 year old size, and put her current swimwear away till when she can fill it out. I would recommend people try on before they buy, where possible.
My child was always cold in any pool! Inside or out, holidays abroad with 40+ degrees and local heated pools and this was fantastic, even in the sea! She doesn’t shiver for the first time ever. I really can’t recommend this product enough. She’s a skinny 6yo but wore the 7-8 comfortably so size up accordingly!
12-13 was too small for a small/average 10 year old
