Product description

This inner tube is compatible with 26" diameter tyres, with a cross-section ranging from 1.70 to 2.20 with a 48 mm Presta valve.

26x1.70 to 26x2.20 inner tube with Presta valve, for 26-inch tyres.

Description

This inner tube is compatible with 26" diameter tyres, with a cross-section ranging from 1.70 to 2.20 with a 48 mm Presta valve.

Choosing an inner tube:

To maintain your bike properly, it is important to know the exact dimensions of your tyres. This information is visible directly on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and section). For example, 26x1.90 means a tyre with a diameter of 26 inches and a width of 1.90 inches. On the side, you will also find the dimensions in mm according to the international ETRTO standard. For example, 50-559 means a tyre that is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 559 mm (i.e. 26x2.00).

To remove the inner tube, you will need the following tools:

Change your inner tube effortlessly with B’TWIN tyre levers.

Checks to make before installing an inner tube:

Carefully inspect your tyre:remove any stones, debris or pieces of glass. Even a small object stuck in the tyre can cause a slow puncture. Gently run your finger over the surface of the tyre to feel for any abnormalities. After each ride, clean your tyres to prevent dirt build-up. Check that no sharp objects are stuck in the rubber of the tyre. Regular cleaning of the tyre will extend its life and that of the inner tube.

How to change an inner tube:

First, watch our help video.Pre-inflate the inner tube to prevent pinching. Position the valve correctly, insert the inner tube into the tyre, then gently push it into the rim.

Fitting a tyre:

Always start fitting the tyre at the valve and work your way around to the opposite side.Do not use any tools that could compress the inner tube.

Inflating a tyre:

Use the pressure recommended on the sidewall of the tyre (1 bar = 14.51 PSI).While inflating, make sure that the tyre does not come off the rim.

Pro advice:

To drive safely and preserve your tyres, remember to check their pressure before each use.
