Which uses are these aquashoes designed for?
The Aquashoes 100 are designed for snorkelling and walking in the water. They enable you to comfortably observe the seabed. They have been designed to provide the comfort you need on sandy beaches that may have small stones. They are also suitable for other watersports: kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding.
Can i walk on rocks with them?
The Aquashoes 100 have been designed to be used on loose terrain, such as sand. It is possible to walk on rocks with Decathlon's Aquashoes 100, but you won't enjoy optimal comfort. However, be careful on the slippery rocks or rocks covered in algae where the grip may be reduced.
Can i wash my shoes in the washing machine?
It is possible to wash the Subea Aquashoes in a washing machine with detergent on a cycle of 30°C maximum, preferably with a delicate programme.Let them then dry in the open air, avoiding the sun.
What size aquashoes should i choose?
As our aquashoes are fitted, we advise you to take your usual size. The best solution is to come and try it out in store. Please note that if the size does not fit, you can exchange them in store.
Product Reviews
Bought for the beach to wear exploring the rocks good fit.
This is our second pair as he’s outgrown the previous ones. Model has changed since last year: shoes used to close with a scratch but that’s only reserved to the baby version now. It means that the opening is quite narrow (to make sure they stay on in the water!). It was just fine for our kid but I totally get all the reviews saying their child couldn’t put them on. Was also quite surprised to see they have no insole as previous version (and current baby version) did have them. For these reasons, new version seems of lower quality. They’re great for walking in rivers and pebbly beach though.
Great value, well made, however the foot opening to the shoe is very small. Once my daughter was able to push her foot inside the shoe was a good fit, but I imagine trying to put the shoe on or off whilst wet will make it even more trickier.
