This is not a universally compatible product: the holes are too small and the back frame too thick, so the bolts don't reach far enough into my bike frame, meaning that the cage can't be installed at all. Although it may work with some Decathlon bikes, it is not guaranteed to work with all bikes, so I'd suggest you pay a bit more for a different bottle cage which will save you time and energy.
The bottle cage itself looks OK of reasonable quality BUT the major issue is that the holes for the screw are too small. Diameter too small to accept the bolts that came with my Btwin bike!. Tried the bolts from my Giant road bike: too big. Tried the bolts from my Gary Fisher MTB, too big. Has anyone in the Decathlon product team actually used this for real? If only accept very small headed allen bolt, please provide them with the bottle cage.
I believe this is decathlons entry level bottle holder. But honestly can’t fault it. It works perfectly and has a simple classic look.
