How to choose your hybrid bike size
4 sizes available: Size S: 1.50 m to 1.65 m tall.Size M: 1.66 m to 1.77 m tall.Size L: 1.78 m to 1.89 m tall.Size XL: 1.90 m to 2.01 m tall.If you are on the edge between 2 sizes: Choose the smaller size for greater manoeuvrability and comfort (straighter back).Choose the larger size for a more stretched out position (better suited to speed).

The frame is made from 6061 aluminium to make it light and comfortable. It has a lifetime warranty.The deliberate bend in the top tube makes standing over the bike when stationary more comfortable.
9-speed drivetrain
The single chainring drivetrain makes life easier: Change between the speeds using a single shifter. The Riverside 500 is equipped with B'Twin Trekking hybrid road and trail tyres so you can go anywhere.The recommended pressure is a minimum of 2 bar and a maximum of 4 bar (details on tyre sidewall).Dimensions: 700 x 38 (38-622).Minimum dimensions in width: 28mm
Tyre compatibility
If you find that you need to fit wider tyres on your bike, you can.Maximum dimensions with the Riverside mudguard: 42mm (ETRTO 42-622 standard)Maximum dimensions without mudguard: 47mm (ETRTO 47-622 standard)We have also tested wider tyres that are compatible with the City 9 (44-622), with mudguards and the TLE evolution (50-622) without a mudguard. The width can vary, all 44 and 50 tyres are not always compatible.

The bike ride is smooth and quite comfortable ever for relatively long distance (20-30km). Riding position is upright but still enables to get to speed quickly. The bike sizing is weird for my height of 177 cm - the M size feels rather short and L it a bit close to the crotch. Other annoying things are: the tyres started to crack after 6-8 months of storage in a cool, shady place. And the gear shift can be more precise. Would recommend for those who is looking for an inexpensive, low-maintenance machine for short and medium distance rides.
Great value commuter bike. Have owned the bike for 3 months and commuted close to 700km on it. No issues to speak of other than basic maintence. The handlebar light that comes provided with the bike is rubbish but the rear red light/reflector is very good. Front suspension is adjustable and great, disc breaks work well, gears are lovely and smooth.
weight limit of bike is only 100kg. Not clear in the description. This is affecting my confidence in the bike. I am almost this weight without backpack. most bike are 130kg limit.
