Fitting your leash to the board.
The cord is already installed on the rail saver. Simply pass it through the plug, then pull and lock it back onto the saver rail using the self-gripping strip. Thus the rail saver is automatically well positioned.
Beginners; Watch out for your fingers.
CAUTION : never hold your board with your hands or fingers wrapped in the cord. This can lead to serious finger injury.
Recommendations for use.
Our leashes are tested under tensile strengths higher than the forces found during use on a surfboard. However, always check the condition of your leash before going in the water. Micro-tears can impair its strength. Replace your leash regularly, especially if your board stays in the sun for long periods.
If you surf regularly, replace your leash every year.
Side rail saver cord.
This strap prevents the cord from shearing the rail of your tail in the event of strong traction force.Ensure it is correctly positioned.
