Why choose a hybrid construction for the MT500 trekking trousers?

These trousers have been designed with 3 different components: - a durable fabric (198 g/m2) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy, enabling great freedom of movement; - a light and breathable fabric (145 g/m2) on the rest of the trousers; - a very stretchy insert in the crotch area (15% elastane).

What accessories are available for the men’s MT500 trousers?

The MT500 trekking trousers are equipped with: - 2 zipped hand pockets; - 1 zipped right thigh pocket and 1 interior phone compartment; - 1 left thigh pocket with flap; - 1 zipped back pocket. The trousers are elasticated at the bottom, so you can adjust them to fit perfectly over your shoes. The trousers are sold with a belt.

How water repellent is the component in the reinforcement zones of the MT500 trousers?

These trousers have water-repellent inserts (front of ankle, buttocks) that let the water slide off the fabric's surface. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref. 8736465). Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).
