Maintenance

It is very simple to take good care of these boots! Simply wash them in soap and water, without any grease or detergent. Spray with NIKWAX waterproofing spray to reactivate the water repellency of leather and textiles. To keep the upper flexible, do not leave them to dry next to a source of intense heat.

Waterproof properties

The leather upper is backed by a membrane to provide waterproofing. It stops water but not perspiration. We subjected it to 2 tests: total immersion in water for 6 hours, and 30,000 submerged flexes, without any water infiltration! You can walk in the rain without worry.

Waterproof gaiters and trousers

Even if it doesn't rain, vegetation can be drenched with water. So don't forget your gaiters or waterproof trousers! Otherwise water will soak through your trousers then your socks and you'll find yourself with 2 wet feet. Also don't forget to wear a good pair of socks for greater comfort, such as our ACT 100 Solognac socks, and to keep your toenails clipped, as they can damage the insides of your shoes and let water in.
