Purchasing advice

Have your child try both boots on, standing up, in their hiking socks. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Don't hesitate to let them walk around the store. Start using them gradually during short hikes for your child to wear them in gently.

Which size should i select

When taking up hiking, do not hesitate to take a size above your usual shoe size to guarantee an optimal comfort when walking downhill and to avoid your toes rubbing the tops of the shoe. Tip: nails must be cut short, and before descending, check that the laces stop the foot from slipping forward to the front of the shoe.

Field test

All our shoes undergo comfort and use tests carried out by users who are representative of our target market, in conditions identical to those found in typical use. Our "Missions Tests" put the product manager in contact with people who are not affiliated with Quechua to test, develop and validate the products.

Laboratory tests

Other laboratory tests are also conducted to approve the quality of the following components: Tearing of the eyelets and straps, stitching, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and the components of the upper, accelerated ageing.

Blue shoes

An excellent shoe for children not too expensive and they last a while too. Not the first pair we've bought and won't be the last either.
