Advised these were what my son needed for cross country. (Age 7). Considering I was buying in Manchester in October was disappointed to find they are not waterproof in any way. If you are running cross county in winter these are not the right choice. When it is dry are 15mm spikes appropriate ( we were advised to buy this size spikes as an upgrade) Perhaps I’ll let you know next summer.
Bought these for my 12 year old who has just started track running really comfy he loves them only downside one spike came out difficult to find same size ones but replaced it otherwise very pleased and super quick delivery from decathlon
