Why use shoes?

Wearing shoes is recommended for aquabiking to prevent injury on the pedals of the bike (unless these pedals are designed to be used barefoot).When Aquabiking, you often move from a seated to a standing position, putting a lot of weight on your foot on the pedal. These shoes will cushion your foot as you press down on the bike pedal.

I am on the borderline for size so they are quite tight and have to be pulled on. They have lasted well, being used two to three times a week. They are so good that I have recommended to other people in my class.

These fit well and I’m definitely going to use them down the beach. However, I found they had zero grip on the glass mosaic tiles of the pool where I do aqua fit - I removed them within seconds as they were dangerous for that exercise for me.
